Cornelis Anthonisz

Netherlandish cartographer and engraver, born and buried in Amsterdam.
Anthonisz is best known for the bird's eye view of Amsterdam, a woodcut he made in 1544. He also made many portraits of kings and princes, which he probably sold in his own print shop.
